Situationen i Mellemøsten medførte i uge 10 2026, at en række danske borgere ikke kunne forlade området via kommercielle fly, da flyselskaberne aflyste afgange til og fra flere lande i Mellemøsten; hvorved et stort antal danskere (ikke mindst i FAE) strandede i en sikkerhedsmæssig utryg situation.
