Annual public procurement in Estonia amounts to approximately €2 billion, representing about 7% of GDP. Estonia's e-procurement system is one of the most advanced internationally, fully integrated with the country's digital infrastructure including e-ID and digital signatures. All procurement procedures above the national threshold must be conducted electronically through the register. The Estonian procurement framework follows international directives while implementing additional transparency measures.
