Find agricultural machinery and equipment procurement opportunities.
Agricultural machinery procurement covers the specialized equipment used by public agricultural agencies, state farms, forestry services, and municipal land management operations worldwide. Under CPV division 16, this category includes tractors, harvesters, ploughs and soil preparation equipment, seeding and planting machinery, spraying equipment, forestry machinery, irrigation systems, and post-harvest processing equipment.
Public sector demand for agricultural machinery comes from state forestry enterprises, municipal parks and green space departments, agricultural education institutions, government research farms, and rural development programmes.
Machinery suppliers should demonstrate compliance with type-approval regulations, emissions standards for non-road mobile machinery, and safety requirements. Total cost of ownership including fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and equipment durability are key evaluation criteria. After-sales service availability in the target region, operator training, and spare parts logistics are important competitive differentiators.
