Original Tender Description

The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) invites tenders for the supply of: - six (6) Type 2 plastic marker buoys to support the ongoing CEFAS buoy contract, including additional buoy locations. These marker buoys will be deployed to clearly identify and protect smaller CEFAS data-gathering buoys, reducing the risk of vessels inadvertently passing over or damaging the CEFAS installations. - four (4) Type 4 polyethylene wreck marker buoys to support wreck marking capability. The buoys will be deployed as aids to navigation for the marking of wrecks and shall be suitable for use in Scottish and Isle of Man waters in accordance with IALA requirements.
