Original Tender Description

Citizen wishes to tender for the provision of structural repair work and associated repairs required arising from disrepair claims, to ensure that we receive an excellent service, which represents value for money. We are seeking to procure the services of suitably experienced service providers with the capability to deliver the required services and who best meet the need of Citizen and its customers. Citizen are looking to appoint up to 4 contractors to support our existing framework covering structural and insurance related repairs to properties, however, may award to fewer than 4 depending on the quality of the submissions received. The estimated value of the Project is approximately £100,000 per annum (p.a.), and £200,000 over the duration of the agreement. However, this is subject to change depending on the volume and complexity of the disrepair cases raised. The contract will be let for a duration of 12 months with an option to extend by a further 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance against KPI’s. In accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, Citizen wishes to restrict the participation of the tender to bidders who are: - Locally based within the West Midlands. - Small – Medium Enterprises (SME) Only. The Procurement Act 2023 defines being locally based as having a registered office, factory or other permanent base in that location from which meaningful business operations have been conducted for at least 12 months. It also defines an SME as an organisation which has a turnover of less than £44m and employs fewer than 250 employees. This aims to boost the impact SMEs can have in the local areas within Citizen’s locations. Citizen will conduct a fair and transparent due diligence process to ensure that these parameters are met. If you do not evidence that you can meet the criteria your bid will not be considered, and you will be excluded. If you wish to express an interest in this project please ensure you are registered and logged into our Portal. The `Express Interest` button will only appear on the Tender Management page if you are logged in. Applicants are advised to ensure that they do not base their submission on discussions with any other member of Citizen Staff. If you require any clarification on matters contained within the Tender Documents, you must do so via Correspondence of the Citizen E-Procurement portal. Failure to observe this requirement may result in your bid being eliminated. Please note that in the case of tender clarifications where appropriate, answers will be circulated to all tenderers.
