Die Sturzgefährdung kann durch den gesundheitlichen Zustand oder die ungewohnte Umgebung hervorgerufen werden.</p><p>Stürze und deren Folgen können hohe Gesundheitskosten nach sich ziehen, die Lebensqualität von Patient*innen kurz-/mittel- oder gar langfristig verschlechtern und gerade bei Personen über 65 Jahre können Stürze eine dauerhafte Pflegebedürftigkeit oder sogar den Tod zur Folge haben.</p><p>A
