Auf Grundlage bereits bestehender Infrastruktur ist die Errichtung eines geförderten Gigabit-Netzes auf Basis der FTTB-Technologie in den unter Abschnitt A.3 der mit den Ausschreibungsunterlagen bereitgestellten Anlage Aufgabenbeschreibung genannten Gemarkungsgebiete in den Jahren 2027 bis 2029 geplant.
