East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EMAS) intends to establish a Dynamic Market for the provision of Taxi Support Services to EMAS. This will cover NEPTS journeys for the Trust, including transporting patients to and from hospital for routine appointments, short term adhoc journeys, and other required journeys. The market is anticipated to begin from 01 April 2026 and run for 4 years until 31 March 2030. Suppliers will be awarded into lots for specific regions: Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Derbyshire. This is Stage 1, creating a supplier list. Stage 2 will involve competitive tenders against suppliers in each lot, evaluated on quality/technical, commercials, and Social Value. Taxis only, no out-of-region charges. Taxi booking platforms are out of scope. Only EMAS can use this market.
