Original Tender Description

As part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program, the Tuvalu Police Service (TPS) has been gifted a Guardian-class Patrol Boat (GPB), HMTSS Te Maitali III . The vessel is usually berthed within Funafuti Lagoon. TPS seeks the acquisition of two dedicated mooring buoys, in: Funafuti Lagoon, as a secondary berthing location for the GPB when its main berth is occupied; and Nanumea, Tuvalu's northernmost island, which is a key forward operating point.
