Original Tender Description

This Utilities requirement is for a multi-lot Tunnelling, Drilling & Shaft Works Framework for the delivery of works as Build Only and Design & Build across the Utilities regions. The framework includes lots for Pipe Ramming, Thrust Boring, Horizontal Directional Drilling (various sizes and rock drilling), Timber Heading, Micro Tunnelling, Auger Boring, Direct Pipe, Pipe Jacking, Segmental Tunnelling, and Under Pinning (Free and Compressed Air), as well as Open Caisson (Wet and Dry) and Sheet Piled Pits, and Timber Shafts. The Utilities requirement will predominantly be Design & Build. Participants cannot bid for a shaft lot in isolation; they must have drilling/tunnelling capability. Bidders will be evaluated and awarded lots based on demonstrated competency. Utilities intend to call off works via mini-competition or direct allocation.
