Original Tender Description

Wychavon District Council is seeking options for an enhanced SWEP service; the SWEP service is currently carried out in house by the Housing Team which is a shared service across both Malvern Hills and Wychavon District Councils. The Council invites suitably experienced and skilled providers to submit a tender response for the provision of SWEP services. SWEP is a locally agreed emergency procedure and service offer intended to help protect people who may otherwise sleep rough during severe weather. The service is expected to provide safe, short-term emergency accommodation and practical support during activation periods, with clear arrangements for referral, risk management, welfare checks, reporting and move-on support. The service is seasonal and will run from 1 November to 31 March inclusive each year. Please see the procurement documents for further information. The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Wychavon District Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents
