Original Tender Description

Network Rail is establishing a framework of five suppliers to support the delivery of on-site or near-site supplier-funded renewable energy solutions via Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The framework will support various renewable energy deployment types, including rooftop installations, car park solar canopies, ground-mount systems, and high energy consuming sites with potential to secure nearby land. It will be technology agnostic (Solar PV, wind, emerging technologies, energy storage) and valid for 8 years, available for Network Rail, nationalised TOCs, and GBR. Call-offs will be run as mini-competitions, with contracts up to 25 years. Options at contract end include purchase, extension, or removal of assets.
