Tender Quality Score

This tender for network cabling replacement at Gateshead College is generally well-structured, with clear technical requirements and a disclosed estimated value. However, it lacks detailed evaluation criteria and information on sustainability aspects.

Score Breakdown

Legal Compliance75/100

The tender appears to comply with basic legal requirements, including a clear CPV code and a defined procedure for below-threshold open competition. The deadline, while potentially tight, is specified. No disputes are noted. The primary concern is the lack of specified evaluation criteria, which is a significant omission for legal compliance in tender assessment.

Missing evaluation criteria
Clarity80/100

The description of the required work is clear, specifying the location and purpose of the network cabling upgrade. Technical requirements are directly linked to the CPV code and the project's objective. The conditions for response are also clear, directing bidders to the e-sourcing portal.

Completeness70/100

Most basic information is present, including title, reference, organization, estimated value, and contract duration. However, the absence of content for the attached tender documents is a significant gap, hindering a full understanding of the scope and specific requirements. The AI-extracted requirements also note the absence of specific mandatory exclusion and eligibility grounds.

No document content available
Missing mandatory exclusion grounds
Fairness85/100

The tender is an open competition, providing broad access. The estimated value is disclosed, and the use of an e-procurement portal is standard. The requirements are technically focused and do not appear to be tailored to specific companies. The main concern is the lack of specified evaluation criteria, which could lead to subjective assessments.

Missing evaluation criteria
Practicality65/100

The tender utilizes an e-submission portal, which is practical. A document URL is provided for more information. However, the contract start date is very close to the submission deadline, which might be impractical for contract preparation. Information on financing is not explicitly detailed.

Financing information not explicitly detailed
Data Consistency90/100

Key fields such as title, reference, organization, value, and deadlines are populated. There are no noted suspensions or disputes. The dates provided are logical, with the contract start date following the submission deadline.

Sustainability50/100

The tender does not explicitly mention any green procurement, social aspects, or innovation focus. It is also not indicated as EU funded, which limits the assessment of sustainability criteria.
