Original Tender Description

NHS Shared Business Services act in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework. Our Approved Organisation list can be found on: https://www.sbs.nhs.uk/services/framework-agreements-categories/ NHS SBS intends to put in place a Framework Agreement for Community and Acute Equipment and Services, including Continence Products and Delivery. This includes the following Lots: Lot 1 - Community and Acute Equipment, including, but not limited to: Aids to Daily Living Moving and Handling Clinical Furniture Patient Treatment Couches Includes services such as repairs, maintenance and decontamination Lot 1 is broken down in to sub lots for the purposes of the commercial envelope as follows: Lot 1 a Standard and Bariatric Bathroom and Toileting Aids Lot 1 b - Paediatric - Bathroom and Toileting Aids Lot 1 c - Standard and Bariatric - Walking Aids, Sticks and Accessories Lot 1 d - Paediatric - Walking Aids, Sticks and Accessories Lot 1 e- Standard and Bariatric - General Aids including Food Preparation Lot 1 f - Paediatric - General Aids including Food Preparation Lot 1 g - Standard and Bariatric - Moving and Handling Equipment - Community equipment Lot 1 h - Paediatric - Moving and Handling Equipment - Community Equipment Lot 1 i - Standard and Bariatric - Moving and Handling Equipment - Acute setting Lot 1 j - Paediatrics - Moving and Handling Equipment - Acute setting Lot 1 k - Standard and Bariatric - Patient Treatment Couches Lot 2 - Beds and Mattresses, including, but not limited to: Manual and Electric Acute and Community Beds Dynamic, Static and hybrid Mattresses Seating and Dynamic Cushions Includes services such as repairs, maintenance and decontamination. Lot 2 is broken down in to sub lots for the purposes of the commercial envelope as follows: Lot 2 a - Acute and Community Bedframes Standard and Bariatric Lot 2 b - Acute and Community Mattresses Standard and Bariatric Lot 2 c - Community Cushions Standard and Bariatric Lot 3 - Wheelchairs, including, but not limited to: Wheelchairs Portering Chairs Specialist Seating Cushions - dynamic, hybrid and static Including services such as repairs, maintenance and decontamination. Lot 3 is broken down in to sub lots for the purposes of the commercial envelope as follows: Lot 3 a - Wheelchairs Standard and Bariatric Lot 3 b - Wheelchairs Paediatric Lot 3 c - Portering Chairs Lot 4 - Combined Lot One stop shop to support a joined-up service, the outsourcing of community loan stores or for total managed services. Appointment to Lot 4 is linked to Lots 1,2 and 3. If a Bidder is appointed to 2 or more lots between Lots 1,2, and 3, the Bidder will be awarded to Lot 4. Lot 5 - Continence Products Home Delivery Service, including but not limited to: Continence products Other self-care products associated with care requirements in the home as required by Approved Organisations. Lot 5 is broken down in to sub lots for the purposes of the commercial envelope as follows: Lot 5 a - Standard and Bariatric - Continence products Lot 5 b - Paediatric - Continence products We are committed to working with suppliers who are dedicated to Sustainability and Social Value and there will be a significant weighting on these elements in the tender.
