Original Tender Description

As part of the General Admission Online Ticketing Project, the Science Museum Group (SMG) will be updating the way general visitors book tickets across our museum website. As part of this, SMG wishes to appoint a Supplier to test an early version of the refreshed online booking journey with target audiences. By gathering feedback from our target audiences during the development process we want to identify and address any potential useability issues before our July 2026 launch date and beyond.

Tender Quality Score

This tender for audience testing of an online ticketing system is generally well-structured, with clear objectives and basic information provided. However, it lacks detailed evaluation criteria and specific requirements, and the submission process could be more streamlined.

Score Breakdown

Legal Compliance75/100

The tender appears to comply with basic legal requirements, including a clear CPV code and a defined procedure for below-threshold open competition. Deadlines are present, though the submission deadline relative to the contract start date might be tight. No disputes are reported.

Clarity80/100

The description of the project and the objective of appointing a supplier for audience testing is clear. The purpose of gathering feedback to address usability issues before the launch is well-articulated. However, the absence of specified evaluation criteria hinders a complete understanding of how proposals will be assessed.

No evaluation criteria specified
Completeness70/100

Most basic information is present, including title, reference, organization, estimated value, and contract duration. However, the tender documents are not accessible with content, and there are no specific listed requirements for eligibility, technical capability, financial standing, or submission, which significantly impacts completeness.

No document content available
No specific requirements listed for eligibility, technical capability, financial, or submission
Fairness85/100

The tender is an open competition, and the value is disclosed, contributing to fairness. There are no apparent requirements tailored to specific companies. However, the lack of detailed evaluation criteria makes it difficult for bidders to understand the assessment process objectively.

Practicality65/100

The contract start date is specified, and the duration is reasonable. However, the lack of information regarding e-submission and the URL for documents limits practicality. Financing information is not explicitly detailed.

No e-submission mentioned
Document URL not provided
Data Consistency90/100

Key fields such as title, reference, organization, value, and deadlines are populated. There are no reported disputes or suspensions. The dates provided are logically sequenced, with the contract start date following the submission deadline.

Sustainability50/100

The tender does not explicitly mention any green procurement, social aspects, or innovation focus. It is also not indicated as EU funded, which limits its sustainability score.
