Original Tender Description

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking to award Contracts for Sensory Support Services across Hertfordshire. These services are for individuals who are blind, have sight loss, deaf, have hearing loss, or have dual sensory loss, aged 18 and over, residing in Hertfordshire. The contracts are jointly funded by Hertfordshire County Council and the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board and aim to support independent living and prevent deterioration of health and wellbeing. The contract will consist of three Lots: Visual Rehabilitation, Support for individuals who are blind or have sight loss, and Support for individuals who are deaf or have hearing loss. The Council will use the Open Procedure. Tenderers must express interest and opt-in to access full procurement documents. The deadline for tender submissions is 12 noon on 8th April 2026.
