Original Tender Description

The London Borough of Hillingdon (Hillingdon) currently manages and maintains the domestic gas installations of approximately 10,000 tenanted Council properties.The objectives of this contract are to appoint one service provider (contractor) to carry out the servicing, responsive breakdown maintenance, installation and remedial works to maintain London Borough of Hillingdon's' gas fired appliances, central heating and hot water system installations in a legally compliant and serviceable condition and to the current Gas Safety, Installation and use Regulations.The works will consist of: • The annual Landlords Gas Safety Inspection and issue of (L.G.S.R.) • Service of London Borough of Hillingdon's Gas fired Appliances - annually (domestic appliances) • Gas safety checks for void properties and re-commissioning • Semi comprehensive breakdown and repair cover 24 hour service (3 star) all year round • Other responsive repairs and replacement works as required and as priced in the Pricing Schedule • Reactive boiler installations (to specification) when approved by LB Hillingdon.See tender pack for full specification.The London Borough of Hillingdon provides no guarantee regarding the volume of works/services to be instructed under this Contract.
