Original Tender Description

The City of London Corporation (the City) invites Tenders for a single‑supplier framework for the provision of a principal contractor to deliver years  2 - 5 of the five‑year cyclical works programme (CWP) for the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (GSMD). Year 2 works will include refurbishment works to the reception area, addressing localised condition and layout improvements for summer 2026. Years 3 - 5 are expected to include further cyclical and condition-led works such as window renewal or overhaul, potential roof repairs, classroom refurbishments, toilet upgrades, redecoration, and renewal of finishes including flooring and ceilings. The wider programme will also include general mechanical and electrical upgrades, covering wiring, lighting, heating, and ventilation improvements to maintain compliance and performance standards across the building. The duration of the framework will be four (4) years. The estimated contract value given is for the full duration of the contract including the maximum possible extensions. The estimated annual contract value is therefore £2,500,000.00.
