Arengukiirendi eesmärgiks on:
1. leida fookusvaldkonnas, milleks on mets, muld, elurikkus ja maakasutus, innovaatilisi rohetehnoloogilisi äriideid arendavad ettevõtted ning pakkuda neile oma toote või teenuse arendamiseks Arengukiirendi teenuseid;
2. Arengukiirendi koosneb eel- ja põhiprogrammist. Eelprogrammi võetakse vähemalt 15 meeskonda ning põhiprogrammi vähemalt 5 ettevõtet. Põhiprogrammis arendab ettevõte prototüübi, mida piloteeritakse. Kõik Arengukiirendi põhiprogrammi valitud äriideed peavad panustama KHG heite vähendamisse või toetama kliimamuutustega kohanemist. Vähemalt 1 Arengukiirendis osalenud ettevõtetest peab olema saavutanud Arengukiirendi lõpuks ehk hiljemalt 31.01.2026 investorküpsuse ehk kaasanud eraraha oma Arengukiirendis arendatud prototüübi (toote või teenuse) edasiarendamiseks.
