Original Tender Description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations for the planning, management and delivery of the Omagh St Patrick's Day Celebration in 2027 and 2028. The Council wishes to deliver a vibrant, inclusive and high-quality event which enhances Omagh's position as the flagship St Patrick's Day celebration in County Tyrone and attracts visitors from across the district and beyond. The event will comprise two key elements: • A large-scale community parade through Omagh town centre featuring local community organisations, schools, cultural groups, performers, businesses and pipe bands; and • A programme of town centre animation and entertainment designed to create a welcoming and engaging visitor experience. The Council welcomes submissions from commercial organisations, community and voluntary organisations, social enterprises and consortia that can demonstrate the experience, capacity and capability required to deliver the contract. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council welcomes applications from organisations bidding individually or as part of a consortium. Consortium bids are encouraged where they bring together complementary skills, experience and local knowledge to strengthen delivery of the contract. This may include expertise in community engagement, event management, creative facilitation, cultural programming or project delivery.
