Töö eesmärgiks on läbi veerežiimi taastamise luua eeldused allikasoodele, madalsoodele ning soostuvatele ja soo-lehtmetsadele, siirdesoo- ja rabametsadele iseloomuliku taimestiku ning struktuuri säilimiseks ja taastumiseks.
Tööobjekt asub Rapla maakonnas, Kohila vallas, Pahkla külas ja Harju maakonnas, Kose vallas Tammiku külas ning paikneb Nabala - Tuhala looduskaitseala Pahkla ja Tammiku sihtkaitsevööndites.
Objektiga on kohustuslik eelnev juhendatud tutvumine 29. septembril kell 11 või erandina eelneval kokkuleppel.
