Original Tender Description

The Air Defence & Maritime Radar (AD&MR) Delivery Team is issuing a Request For Information (RFI) to help inform the Authority’s strategy for this requirement and is NOT part of any procurement procedure. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is considering a ground-based alternative to flight checking to replicate and improve scientific and engineering rigour around Air Defence (AD) Radar detection and accuracy. Industry responses will inform the procurement strategy, including commercial model, requirement writing, budget, and IP strategy. Participation in this market engagement phase and any response to this RFI is at the participant's cost and risk. The MOD is under no obligation to proceed with a formal procurement.
