Special Inspection Notice 119 (SIN119) Remedial Works Framework - Kent and Sussex Routes

Network Rail has carried out a procurement process in accordance with the Negotiated Procedure with Prior Call for Competition under the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. This Framework is to complete the necessary remedial works associated with the SIN119 notice issued by the ORR. This includes physically verifying that location cases are connected to earth via an earth rod/mat/another source and exposed live parts are mitigated against. Subsequently, the integrity of the earth connection and resistance to earth of the rod/mat/another source shall be verified for compliance against the relevant safety standards. 2 contractors have been appointed as the Principal Contractors under this Framework. The award duration is 2 years with the option to extend by 1 year.
