Original Tender Description

We are looking to commission an Occupational Therapy Service to be the single point for children and young people Social Care assessments. The aim of the service is to meet statutory provision to help children and young people remain at home, cared for by their families and enable them to be as independent as possible. The assessments include equipment and home adaptations by accessing the Disabled Facilities Grant. As part of this, we would like to invite potential providers to meet with us over the coming weeks to discuss how they might approach delivery of this service, with a view to launching an open tender process in May 2026. Tender Quality Score

This tender is in the planning stage, outlining a significant contract for social care occupational therapy services. While generally well-structured with clear objectives and a disclosed value, it lacks specific details on evaluation criteria and technical requirements, and relies on an external portal for full documentation.

Score Breakdown

Legal Compliance75/100

The tender is in a planning phase, indicating adherence to regulatory processes. The CPV code is appropriate. No disputes are reported. Deadlines are not yet finalized as it's a planning notice, but the stated contract start date and duration are reasonable. The absence of a reveal date is a minor issue for this planning stage.

Clarity80/100

The description of the service is clear, outlining the purpose and scope of the occupational therapy provision for children and young people. The AI-extracted requirements provide a good overview of the expected service delivery. However, specific technical and financial requirements are not detailed in the provided text.

Completeness70/100

Basic information such as title, organization, estimated value, and contract duration/start date are present. The CPV code is provided. However, crucial details like evaluation criteria and specific technical/financial requirements are missing from the provided text, and full documentation is only accessible via an external portal.

Missing evaluation criteria
No document content available
Fairness85/100

The tender appears fair, with a disclosed value and a clear intention to launch an open tender process. The invitation for potential providers to meet and discuss their approach suggests an effort towards transparency. The reliance on an external portal for full access is standard, and no specific company tailoring is evident.

Practicality65/100

The tender is in a planning stage, so e-submission is not yet applicable. The contract start date and duration are specified. Financing information is not detailed. The primary access point for further details is an external portal, which is a common but not ideal method for initial information dissemination.

No e-submission (expected)
Data Consistency90/100

Key fields such as title, organization, value, and dates are populated. There are no reported disputes or suspensions. The dates provided (contract start and duration) are logical. The status 'planning' is consistent with the information presented.

Sustainability50/100

There is no explicit mention of green procurement, social aspects, innovation, or EU funding in the provided text. This indicates a lack of focus on these areas within the current tender information.
