Original Tender Description

Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) has started to replace the current traffic signal installations (VRI's) with intelligent traffic signal installations (iVRI's). The reason for this is that the iVRI is the new standard and the iVRI facilitates nationally specific target groups, such as prioritizing emergency and service vehicles (including road inspectors), logistics, and cyclists. In recent years, RWS has replaced or converted 19 VRI's to iVRI's in a first tranche. The experiences with these first iVRI's is that
