Acceleration Support Services to the BEIS Net Zero Innovation Portfolio

Acceleration Support services will continue to build on the previous intentions of the tendered incubation support contract. We are now looking to scale up this support and offer it to Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that are funded through the priority programmes in the new Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) and not just to the Energy Entrepreneurs Fund. To ensure that we get the best value for money from these projects, the provision of Acceleration Support will be offered alongside their project deliverables, thereby increasing the capability of companies to exploit, and commercialise their specific technology.  By identifying company skills gaps and delivering bespoke support tasks the service will help to promote best practice business development and pave the way toward commercialisation.
