Original Tender Description

Combined Services and Assets (CoSA) system and database is a purpose-built database with Geographical Information System (GIS) functionality. CoSA enables the Combined Authority to manage public transport information used locally and nationally for approximately 17,000 bus stop and shelter assets, bus and taxi service procurement and home to school transport. There are currently c.100 registered users of CoSA at the Combined Authority. Members of the public interact with the data processed through CoSA via our Real Time system, journey planners, the national bus stop record (NaPTAN) and other national datasets.
