Original Tender Description

A new system (1 unit) for sorting, uncapping, and capping blood tubes is to be procured for the Department of Medical Genetics at Oslo University Hospital (OUS). The system must handle uncapping of blood tubes with both "plug cap" and "screw cap". The blood tubes will be in 3/4 mL, 6 mL, and 9/10 mL formats with dimensions of 13x75mm, 13x100mm, and 16x100mm respectively. The department usually receives BD Vacutainer and Greiner Vacuette type tubes. The system must also be able to read barcodes on the side of the tubes. Procurement
