Original Tender Description

Fully automated flow cytometer for drinking water analysis at locations on Water Treatment sites. Flow cytometer must not require a specialist operator and will be installed on-site at a water treatment works. Flow cytometry to allow for the counting of bacterial cells using DNA specific dyes which also allow for further interpretation of the bacterial population with the 'fluorescence fingerprint' based upon the DNA content of the bacteria within a sample.
