Original Tender Description

The Authority is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Service Supplier to deliver high quality, compliant and customer focused Revenue Collection and Benefits Administration Services from 1 October 2027. The contract will include fully managed Revenue Collection (Council Tax and Business Rates), fully managed Benefits Administration (Housing Benefits, Council Tax Support, Discretionary schemes, Free School Meals), customer services, provision and management of IT systems, mobilisation, ongoing service improvement, cost savings, benchmarking, and exit and transition management support. The contract is anticipated to commence in February 2027 for mobilisation and implementation, with full live service starting on 1 October 2027. The initial term is until 30 September 2032, with potential extensions for two further two-year periods, up to 30 September 2036.
