Original Tender Description

Provision of Planned and Reactive Refurbishment Works (Measured Term Contract) The Sheffield College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver a programme of planned and reactive refurbishment works across its estate under a JCT Measured Term Contract (2024). The scope of works will primarily include refurbishment of classrooms and associated spaces such as offices, IT suites, and support areas across multiple College sites. Works will be instructed on a call-off basis through individual task orders and may include building fabric repairs, internal finishes, minor adaptations, and associated electrical works. The Contractor will be required to operate within a live educational environment and demonstrate the ability to deliver works safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to students, staff, and College operations. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, with the contract awarded to the bidder submitting the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT) based on a combination of quality (including social value) and price. The initial contract term will be 12 months, with the option to extend for a further 12 months at the College’s discretion.
