Original Tender Description

The purpose of the project is to appoint a consultant to develop a detailed design for three School Streets Projects that were previously part of the East Sussex School Streets trials in 2021. This involved temporarily closing the street immediately outside of the school to motor vehicles; opening the street to families on foot, bike or scooter at drop off and pick up times, giving everyone more space to get to school and move around the local environment safely.
