Original Tender Description

This is for information only and not a call for tender submissions. This is a notice to alert the market that Nottingham City Council is preparing an opportunity for an Alternative Education Provision Framework. This notice is also used to provide time for potential Suppliers to register on the appropriate web platforms, as described below, in advance of the Tender Notice being published. Under the Procurement Act 2023, Suppliers are required to register on to the Central Digital Platform to submit their Core Supplier Information as part of the tender response. See below for further information: Central Digital Platform (CDP) - Also referred to as Find A Tender. To bid for public contracts Central Government has mandated that Suppliers are required to register on the CDP. This can be found here: https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Search You may have previously registered on the previous Find a Tender Service before the 24 February 2025. You will need to re-register on this enhanced platform. Guidance can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/information-and-guidance-for-suppliers Suppliers are required to fully complete the required information are part of the registration process on the CDP. Please note The Council has no influence on the operation, control and content required on this platform. It is advised that Suppliers interested in this opportunity register on the CDP as soon as possible. Even if you are not interested in this opportunity, registration will give you access to all contract opportunities published on this site. Suppliers will also(if not already done so) need register onto the Council's procurement Portal as below: East Midlands Procurement Portal Once the Tender Notice is published, Tender documents can be obtained from the East Midlands Procurement Portal at https://www.eastmidstenders.org/ by searching for CPU7109. This is not a Council website, so we are unable help. The Framework will consist of Independent Schools (privately funded, inc public schools) and Independent Providers. Publicly Owned/Funded Schools (inc LA maintained schools, faith schools, grammar schools, state boarding schools, voluntary schools), Academy Trusts and Free Schools do not need to register or apply to be on this framework as awards to these organisations are exempt under the Procurement Act 2023. This contract may be of interest to : • Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) • Voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSE) This notice is not being used as a 'qualifying planned procurement notice'. This is a light touch special regime concession contract as per Sections 8 and 9 of the Procurement Act 2023. The anticipated term of the Framework is up to eight years.
