An aluminum catamaran-type research vessel up to 11.9 meters (width up to 5.2 m, draft 1.2 m) must be designed and built in accordance with good shipbuilding practices and comply with the rules and requirements for this type of vessel, taking into account the conditions listed in the tender base documents. The vessel must include the necessary additional equipment and functionalities.
The main function of the vessel is to conduct underwater archaeological research in Estonian sea areas, its minimum lifespan is 20 years, resistance to sea conditions: significant wave height up to 2 m, wind Beaufort scale 6, limited ice-going capability (up to 3 cm solid ice), maximum number of people 12, carrying capacity min 2700 kg.
The vessel must have at least the following areas:
1. Wheelhouse (at the front of the main deck)
2. Galley
3. Cabins
4. Toilet
5. Bow and stern decks
6. Forepeaks
7. Engine rooms
8. Aft peaks
