Original Tender Description

The aim of the tower conservation is to eliminate the risk of collapse and ensure the preservation of the historically valuable stone wall and details. After the completion of the works, the ruins must be safe for visitors. 2026 works: * Covering the crown of Section V: concrete slab and lead sheeting. * Cleaning and conservation of the facade surface on the exterior of Section V. * Cleaning of the tops of the walls of Section VI from destructive material. * Strengthening of the inner lining wall of Section VI and wall repairs. * Restoration of the masonry on the exterior of Section VI. * Re-laying the edges of the wall crown of Section VI. * Cleaning and conservation of the embrasure. * Scaffolding work. Site visit time is between Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 to 16:00. Contact details are in the invitation to submit an offer. All materials and conditions necessary for conservation are detailed in the 'Kagutorni Conservation Phase IV Action Plan' prepared by Mõisaprojekt OÜ in 2022. Work No. 22-04 (attached).
