Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust (BWCET) ønsker å etablere et Dynamisk Innkjøpssystem (DPS) for levering av vanlige varer og tjenester fra et bredt spekter av leverandører for å skape en etisk og bærekraftig forsyningskjede som leverer sosial verdi i lokalsamfunn. Education Commercial Services (ECS) er handelsnavnet for Bishop Wilkinson Commercial Services Ltd, et heleid datterselskap av Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust (BWCET) som leverer spesialiserte innkjøpstjenester til utdanningssektoren. Education Commercial Services (ECS) fokuserer på å levere kommersiell støtte av høy kvalitet til utdanningssektoren med et spesifikt fokus på å støtte Nordøst-regionen. DPS vil skape følgende fordeler på tvers av alle sektorer, steder og leverandører: • støtte lokale SMB-er, veldedige organisasjoner og sosiale entreprenører ved å tilby en plattform for vekst, og dermed støtte den lokale økonomien • øke skapelsen av sosial verdi innenfor følgende temaer: Covid-19 Recovery, Bekjempelse av økonomisk ulikhet, Bekjempelse av klimaendringer, Likelønn og Trivsel • redusere miljøpåvirkningen, enten det er karbon, vann, avfallsreduksjon og/eller prinsipper for sirkulær økonomi • oppmuntre til 10-dagers betalingsbetingelser for leverandører og underleverandører for å støtte lokale bedrifter • skape leverandørbewustzijn og oppmuntre leverandører til å implementere nye arbeidspraksiser knyttet til etisk forsyning, bærekraft, samfunns- og medarbeiderstøtte gjennom hele forsyningskjeden. Ved søknad til DPS må leverandører angi hvilke kategorier de søker på, for å bli invitert til de relevante konkurransene. Kunder vil bruke kategoriene til å shortliste utnevnte leverandører og invitere dem til videre konkurranse.
