Original Tender Description

Coventry City Council is undertaking the re-commissioning of its Supported Accommodation for Young People Service. This service will provide high-quality, accommodation with support for Coventry Children in Care, Care Leavers, and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) aged 16 and above. Providers will be required to source and maintain suitable properties that offer safe, nurturing environments and promote the development of independent living skills. The primary objective of the Supported Accommodation Service is to deliver consistent, outcomes-focused support that enables young people to develop essential life skills, strengthen their resilience, and successfully transition into adulthood. Floating Support will be available to young people aged 18 and over who are moving on from Supported Accommodation into their own tenancies. Supported accommodation became regulated by Ofsted in October 2023 and the Council is required to contract with Ofsted registered providers.
