Uddannelsesafdelingen i Pärnu Byråd organiserer en fælles udbudsprocedure for forplejningstjenesten for skolerne i Pärnu. Formålet med udbuddet er at sikre korrekt forplejning af elever og personale på Pärnu Tammsaare Skole, Pärnu Kuninga Tänava Grundskole, Pärnu Ühisgümnaasium, Pärnu Raeküla Skole, Pärnu Rääma Grundskole og Paikuse Skole ved at tilbyde eleverne sund, afbalanceret, varieret, velsmagende, alderssvarende og, om nødvendigt, hensyntagen til særlige behov (allergier) mad til en rimelig pris. Tilbudsgiveren er forpligtet til at sætte sig ind i stedet for opfyldelse af udbudskontrakten, og tilbudsgiverens repræsentant er forpligtet til at underskrive den relevante akt på stedet (RHS § 111, stk. 6, nr. 1).
