The Council aims to develop a Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (Pseudo DPS) to provide high-quality placement and support for young people leaving care and vulnerable young people. The goal is to place these young people with established, experienced providers in the Wakefield, Leeds, Barnsley, and Kirklees Local Authority areas. Applicants meeting the criteria will be admitted to the Pseudo DPS. This is a non-competitive process with no limit on the number of appointed applicants. Admission to the PDPS does not guarantee financial provision. The DPS will run for an initial 5 years, with an option to extend for another 5 years.
