Cambridge City Council - Proposed Residential Development 10 Sites,1 Community Facility Redevelopment

Cambridge City Council wish to appoint a Contractor to develop ten sites for residential accommodation and redevelop one further site for community use in the Cambridge area. The intention is to develop a pipeline of projects for the selected Contractor to work with appointed design teams to develop plans, submit drawings for planning approval and to build out schemes. The council is looking for a contractor that wants to be part of the Council’s ambition to deliver community centres, council rented homes, accessibility and sustainability. The pipeline includes two mobility accessible bungalows, c.15 Net Zero Carbon homes across two sites, and c. 30 passivhaus homes across 8 sites and a refurbishment of a community centre. Contractors are welcome to bid for Lot 1 and/or Lot 2. Lot 1 is split into a, b, c to highlight the pipeline, target programme and tender requirements, but is a single Lot.
