21-22 Service, Repair and Maintenance of Boiler Plant

This contract shall cover all boiler plant throughout the University Estate. The required service comprises annual cleaning of boilers, cleaning of flue-ways and smoke stacks and servicing of burners, together with an emergency call-out facility for repairs and breakdowns. All work shall be carried out in strict accordance with the Specification and in compliance with the requirements of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 (GSIUR) as amended, BS6891:2015 and all other relevant current standards. The required Services shall include the provision of: a) Initial survey and setting-up of systems b) Cyclical maintenance c) General repairs d) Call-out provision for repairs and breakdowns e) Upgrades, Replacements and New Installations f) Records of Work, Test & Inspection Certificates and reports.
