Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan

Sport England and UK Sport as the contracting authorities are tendering for the supply of support to around 130 funded partners – including National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs), Active Partnerships and National Sports Organisations - to develop Diversity & Inclusion Action Plans and to provide ongoing support to partners up to April 2024 (with the possibility of extension for up to 12 months). Diversity and Inclusion Action Plans (DIAPs) are a new Requirement in Tier 3 of the revised Code for Sports Governance (compliance with which is a mandatory funding condition). Tier 3 Requirements apply to our largest and most long-term funded partners. The contract is for an initial 2-year term up to April 2024, with a unilateral option for Sport England and UK Sport to extend for further periods up to a maximum of 12 months. The anticipated contract value is up to £580,000 over the initial contract period. The estimated annual contract value is up to £290,000.
