La City of London Corporation étudie le réaménagement des numéros 50-52 Aldgate High Street pour créer une base unifiée et spécialement conçue pour l'unité montée de la police de la City de Londres. Le site offre des avantages opérationnels clés, notamment un accès central, un service arrière et un espace suffisant pour l'hébergement, les installations de bien-être et les manœuvres des camions à chevaux. Le projet est actuellement en phase de faisabilité et d'évaluation préliminaire du site, avec un engagement approfondi en cours avec TfL concernant les contraintes souterraines et le statut du terrain. Valeur de construction estimée : 4 millions de livres sterling Programme estimé : Février 2026 – Mars 2028 (112 semaines) Voie d'approvisionnement : Conception et construction en une seule étape (JCT D&B) L'ingénieur structure est requis pour soutenir les étapes RIBA 2-4 en tant que concepteur structurel principal, puis agir en tant qu'agent de surveillance du client pendant la construction jusqu'à l'achèvement et les défauts.
