L'ambassade britannique (San Jose) sera située dans un local loué à La Sabana. L'espace de bureau est actuellement vacant dans un complexe nouvellement construit et son objectif principal est d'être aménagé, créant un environnement fonctionnel, tout en tenant compte des problèmes d'incendie et de sécurité. Résumé général de la portée des travaux : Aménagement d'un espace vacant selon une norme de bureau fonctionnelle, y compris les installations mécaniques et électriques, qui sont alimentées à l'extérieur du bureau par un complexe à plusieurs étages. Aménagement d'une unité de stockage dans le même bâtiment et à l'extérieur du bureau (environ 1,95 million de livres sterling). Le site sera vacant pendant toute la durée de la construction et l'ambassade poursuivra ses activités depuis un autre endroit. L'entrepreneur et tout sous-traitant utilisé doivent être en mesure de travailler selon les normes britanniques pertinentes. La construction doit être réalisée selon les normes britanniques. Le chef de projet de l'entrepreneur effectuant les travaux devra détenir l'habilitation de sécurité requise (SC) et être approuvé par le FCDO au moment du début des travaux. Il est prévu que la forme du contrat utilisée sera le contrat NEC 4.
