Swindon Borough Council søger at indgå en kontrakt med en passende leverandør til levering af et bredt udvalg af materialer til boligreparationer og andre tilknyttede genstande, herunder (men ikke begrænset til) elektriske artikler, varme, maling og dekorationsmaterialer, tagdækning, vinduer og glas, køkkener, badeværelser, jernvarer, sanitetsartikler, tøj, døre, elværktøj, aggregater, isolering, gas, VVS, veje, gadebelysning, tømmer, hegn, sikkerhedsudstyr på stedet osv. Den oprindelige kontraktperiode vil være på fire (4) år med mulighed for forlængelse i yderligere to (2) år plus en yderligere et (1) års forlængelse. Estimeret kontraktudgift er 12 mio. GBP ekskl. moms i løbet af den indledende 4-årige kontraktperiode og 21,3 mio. GBP ekskl. moms i løbet af den potentielle samlede syv (7) års kontraktperiode. Tilhørende risiko ved dette udbud: Værdien af kontrakten kan ændre sig i kontraktens løbetid (inklusive forlængelse) på grund af stigning i boligbeholdningen over tid, eller hvor der skal udføres større reparationer på boligbeholdningen.
