Originalni opis tendera

Ugovor je za pružanje radova Centra za digitalnu zdravstvenu tehnologiju (CDHT) Univerzitetu Ulster. Projekat će obuhvatiti izgradnju nove šestospratne zgrade pod nazivom „Centar za digitalnu zdravstvenu tehnologiju“ (CDHT), koja će biti objekat za istraživanje i razvoj (klasa upotrebe B1), koji se sastoji od laboratorija, kancelarijskih prostora, zajedničkih prostorija za sastanke i unapređenja javnog prostora na Frederick Street. Predložena lokacija se nalazi na mestu sadašnje zgrade Northland House, pored postojećeg univerzitetskog kampusa Univerziteta Ulster u centru Belfasta (blok BC). Sadašnja zgrada Northland House nalazi se na adresi 2-5a Fredrick Street Belfast, BT1 2NH i biće srušena pre ovog imenovanja. Šestospratni prednji blok i dvospratni zadnji podijum pružaju ukupnu bruto površinu od približno 3.980 m². Zgrada će se graditi uglavnom od armiranobetonskih ravnih ploča na rotaciono bušenim šipovima ukopanim u stenu, sa lokalizovanim čeličnim okvirom za krovne tehničke prostore. Podkonstrukcija se sastoji od grupisanih šipova povezanih dubokim kapama šipova i perimetarskim zemaljskim gredama koje obezbeđuju stabilnost i podršku fasadi, dok su unutrašnje grede racionalizovane kako bi se smanjila složenost i poboljšala koordinacija usluga. CDHT mora postići BREEAM ocenu „Excellent“, a sistemi niske potrošnje energije i materijali otporni na klimatske uslove predlažu se svuda, kako bi se postigla zgrada sa niskim sadržajem ugljenika.
