Concrete Roads - Design Framework

Full design, technical assurance, site supervision and project management capability for the concrete roads programme. The designer will be expected to: • perform principal designer duties • provide constructible designs • engage with contractors for ECI • provide VfM by maximising opportunities for efficiencies • fully inform and consult on design assumptions • use design opportunities in the HE innovation report • design to current DRMB, BS EN standards • maximise production rates in design for rapid completion on the SRN • plan for network occupancy with advice from HE staff • provide on site supervision as directed • prepare health and safety file • provide documentation for HE 3D Scheme Development Process • plan communication strategies for the delivery of the schemes within a region • provides and maintains programme for the scheme till construction Stage 6 Provides contingency should the other framework supplier be unable to deliver works.
