Transpordiseadmete hanked hõlmavad sõidukeid ja seotud seadmeid, mida avaliku sektori asutused hangivad oma tegevus- ja teenuste osutamiseks. CPV jaotuse 34 all hõlmab see kategooria autosid, kaubikuid, busse, veoautosid, eriseadmetega sõidukeid, raudteeveeremi, meresõidukeid, jalgrattaid ja liikluskorraldustehnikat.
Valitsuse autopargi hanked moodustavad kogu Euroopas olulise turu. EL-i puhtate sõidukite direktiiv kehtestab miinimum hankenõuded puhtale sõidukitele, kiirendades üleminekut elektri- ja vesinikumootoriga autoparkidele liikmesriikides.
Sõidukite tarnijad ja tootjad peaksid arvestama, et avaliku sektori hangete hindamisel kaalutakse üha enam elutsükli kulusid, sealhulgas kütuse- või energiatarbimist, hoolduskulusid ja jääkväärtust koos ostuhinnaga. Keskkonnakriteeriumid nagu CO2-heitetase ja mürastandardid muutuvad otsustavaiks teguriteks.
