Kohalikud omavalitsused on suurimad põllumajandusteenuste hankijad, tellides ettevõtteid avalike haljasalade hooldamiseks, teekäärtava taimestiku haldamiseks ja linnapuude hooldamiseks. Riiklikud metsandusagentuurid hangivad metsahaldus- ja metsistamisteenuseid.
