Transportation and Processing of Dry Mixed Recycling - HDG/2022/226

Stoke-on-Trent City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint a provider for a comprehensive service to transport and process co-mingled Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) arising from household kerbside collections. The service provision shall include the transportation of the DMR direct to the Contractors facility, the sorting of recyclable materials and the delivery of the Sorted Output Materials to the Contractors designated processors. The further treatment and disposal of all non-recyclable items shall operate in compliance with the waste hierarchy, maximising diversion away from landfill or following a Zero Waste to Landfill strategy as the preferred option.
